2. Health & Safety Management System
   The implementation of a Health & Safety Management System can assist a client in controlling workplace risks and meeting statutory duties. MEDICS24 can produce a Health & Safety Management System that includes a Health & Safety Policy and General Risk Assessment bespoke to your business and designed to be used in managing workplace health & safety.
   
   
3. Health & Safety Protector
   We will write a Health & Safety Policy, compliant with the Factory and Other Places of Work ACT Cap 514
   Laws of Kenya in Health & Safety at Work Rules, (to meet the current Occupational Safety & Health Act) tailored to your business. Inspecting the workplace and the work activities to assess the risks to health & safety and to identify the measures required to control these risks will carry out a risk assessment. This general health & safety risk assessment may identify the need for additional risk specific assessments. We will review your Health & Safety Policy and your risk assessments on an annual basis during the pre agreed contract period.
   
   
4. Health & Safety Policy
   We will write a Health & Safety Policy tailored to the culture and Health & Safety Management arrangements of your business. The policy is designed to comply with the Occupational safety & Health Act 2007 and Factory and Health & Safety at Work rules.
   
   
5. Asbestos Risk Management Consultancy
   MEDICS24 Ltd will provide advice on the implementation of asbestos related legislation and the available options to ensure compliance. Assistance will be offered in the selection of approved asbestos surveying, testing and removal contractors. We will act as Project Managers for asbestos survey or removal contracts and assist in the development and implementation of asbestos management plans.
   
   
6. Accident Investigation Consultancy
   Following a workplace accident, a timely, structured and appropriate accident investigation is essential. An investigation should gather relevant facts and identify immediate and root causes for the accident. MEDICS24 Ltd will carry out accident investigations and provide reports that include recommendations for addressing the causes of the accident with the intention of reducing the risk of further accidents.
   
   
7. Contractor Vetting Consultancy
   Employers who appoint contractors as part of their business undertaking carry some responsibility for the actions of these contractors. MEDICS24 Ltd will assist in the contractor approval and due diligence checking process to reduce the employer’s liability and reduce the risk of workplace accidents.
   
   
8. Specialist Advice Consultancy
   When an employer has a specific concern or needs advice regarding a particular health & safety issue, MEDICS24 Ltd will provide an expert and rapid response. Site visit or telephone guidance, as appropriate, will be provided to effectively address the situation.
   
   
9. Construction (Design and Management)
   Regulations MEDICS24 Ltd can provide a range of services in connection with construction projects covered by the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.
   
   
10. CDM Planning Supervisor
    MEDICS24 Ltd can be appointed as Planning Supervisor for projects covered by the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994. Early appointment by a client will assist in a comprehensive pre-tender health & safety plan being developed and construction projects being managed in a safe and healthy manner.
    
    
11. CDM Client’s Agent
    MEDICS24 Ltd can be appointed as Client’s Agent for projects covered by the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations to undertake the client’s duties. CDM Health & Safety Plan MEDICS24 Ltd will assist the planning supervisor in developing the pre-tender health and safety plan and the Principal Contractor in developing the construction phase health and safety plan.
    
    
12. Health & Safety Audits & Reviews
    MEDICS24 Ltd can carry out a range of Audits & Reviews to provide objective assessments of an organisation’s health & safety systems and performance.
    
    
13. Health Check Audit
    MEDICS24 Ltd will carry out an audit of an organisation to produce a report to be presented to senior management or external interested parties, such as insurance companies. The audit will consider the organisation’s Health & Safety management and the risk control measures associated with the major workplace hazards relevant to the specific employer.
    
    
14. Disability Access Audit
    An audit of employers’ policies, procedures and work locations and, for service providers, the ways in which goods, services and facilities are provided to the public is carried out to assess compliance with the Disability Discrimination. Physical and non-physical barriers to access for all disabled persons are considered. Recommendations are made regarding the implementation of reasonable adjustments to physical barriers and
    possible changes to policies and the ways in which the services are provided.
    
    
15. Annual Review
    MEDICS24 Ltd will carry out an Annual Review of an organisation’s health & safety performance and health & safety risk management. The review will consider whether the current management processes adequately support the organisation’s Health& Safety policy and objectives. Benchmarking against industry standard performance can be provided. The review report may identify areas where changes are possible to produce improvements in future performance.
    
    
16. HSG Audit
    MEDICS24 Ltd will carry out an audit of an organisation’s health and safety management against the Health & Safety Executive guidance “Successful health and safety management HSG. This detailed audit of an organisation’s management structure and processes may identify gaps or failings. The audit report will include any recommended changes that can be implemented to improve health and safety performance.
